	Voice Exercises to Aid Your Singing /Chanting Sound the vowels until your voice and breath are strong:    Ooooooooo (as in "moon") Ohhhhhhhh Ahhhhhhhh (3 times) AhhhOhhh. OooAyEee  (6 times) Repeat at least 5 times. 5 is number of elements and major organs in Chinese medicine; 5 in Shinto is number for happiness, "like petals of most beautiful flower." 6 repetitions are for "more satisfaction: perfect!"
	Prayers With Intent For Our Advancement: IYASAKA HIFUMI NORITO IYASAKA = "please wishing you more advancement" HIFUMI = number of advancement NORITO = chanting Sound words consciously with love; sound each word preciously, then the words will give you God's energy. Notes on Japanese Pronounciation All vowel sounds are always identical, and consonant sounds are the same as English.  An "L" sound and an "R" sound should always be the same, and it is pronounced quickly, with the tongue fluttering off of the upper palate of the mouth. It is the beginning sound of a rolling "R" as is heard in Mediterranean language, a very fast "r-uh" with the tongue flip at the end of the "r" of "r-uh." The jaw does not move at all, the pitch of the voice does not change and the quick flip of the tongue from the upper teeth and palate to the flat position in the lower jaw is what makes the sound. You will never hear a true English "L", "R" or "V" sound in Japanese. The only compliment to "V" in Japanese is the "B" sound. The vowel sounds are very easy to remember:
	A is always sounded sharply and distinctly as in "aah" like "Ra." E is always sounded as a blend of "eh"  as in "Beth" and "ey" as in "hey." I is always sounded sharply and distinctly as "e" as in "Be."  O is the typical "oh" sound, like in "hello." 	The 47 Words of God's Chant Number 47 represents basic elements of physical and spiritual universe, from micro to macro, including our physical body, our mind/body, and our spiritual body.
